US Sailing's 2013 Speaker Series Program
What is the US Sailing Speaker Series?
The Speaker Series program was first created in 2005 as a grassroots, educational series delivering high quality seminars to cruising and racing sailors nationwide. Our speakers discuss a wide range of relevant sailing topics, from racing rules and tactics to cruising and sailing around the world. US Sailing will proivde a speaker and cocktail pary for your club and members. The cocktail party is provided by Old Pulteney and can take place before or after the speaking segment.
2013 Speaker Series Roster:
This year's list of expert speakers includes Gary Jobson, rules expert Dave Perry, American offshore sailing icon Rich Wilson, race officer Peter Reggio, and 2008 Paralympic Gold Medalists, Maureen McKinnon.
How to host a Speaker Series event:
US Sailing is accepting applications from clubs that would like to host an event in 2013. US Sailing will work with your club to find the right speaker for your club's audience and help you organize and promote an event at your club or organization. If you would like to host an event or for more information on the program, please contact US Sailing's Marketing Director Amy Larkin.
