Sailor of the Week - April, 2011

  • Gayle Finster Gayle Finster picked up sailing later in life. She is now trying to make up for lost time by getting out on the water as much as possible and giving back to the sport by encouraging women to try sailing.
  • Karen Reisch Louisiana native, Karen Reisch, touches all bases when it comes to maximizing her involvement in sailing and the marine industry in general.
  • Genevieve Bradley Winthrop High School (Mass.) started a sailing team last year. They launched this new sailing program with leadership, skill and experience on their roster. Senior Genevieve Bradley embodies all three of these qualities.
  • Katie Triplett Last Week's SOTW: Katie Triplett has served as the Campaign Manager for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Louisiana and Mississippi for less than year. In her short time in this role, Katie has made a tremendous impact on fundraising, and she did this by combining a worthy cause with people’s love for sailing.
