US Sailing’s National Sailing Programs Symposium – Sail Training at its Best!

US Sailing’s National Sailing Programs Symposium – Sail Training at its Best!

Is someone from your club attending US Sailing’s 2013 NSPS? The 30th Anniversary of the premier event for sailing education in the United States is coming to the Clearwater Beach Marriott Suites on Sand Key (Fla.) on January 23-26.

NSPS is the only conference of its kind that brings together program directors, instructors, volunteers, parents and industry representatives to share and learn best practices with one another about running, maintaining and improving sailing programs. There is no better opportunity for networking with the leaders in sail training education.

With educational tracks devoted to the business of sailing, the development of programs and the instruction of students of all skill and ages levels, this event is guaranteed to provide you, and your organization with the “how to” skills to take your program to the next level. Additionally, we feature a track for first time participants that will help you launch that new community program or add a racing program to your existing one.

More information including registration details can be found at http://bit.ly/uss_nsps.

The Symposium is Coming to a Town Near You

US Sailing’s popular NSPS event is going regional! The Regional Sailing Programs Symposiums provide an opportunity for organizations and individuals to share ideas and concerns about sailing education and programming within a particular region. All are welcome regardless if you are from a community program, commercial school, yacht club, high school / college program, one-design fleet, or any other organization. The event is free but we ask that you register in advance. More information can be found at http://bit.ly/uss_rsps.
