PEWAUKEE, Wis. (September 28, 2012) – The breeze on Lake Pewaukee simply would not cooperate on Friday. The field of 20 teams managed just one race on day one of the 2012 Championship of Champions, hosted by Pewaukee Yacht Club. This US Sailing National Championship event will resume Saturday morning at 9:30 am CT. This year’s Championship of Champions is raced in C-Scows.
Race 1 was captured by skipper Ed Eckert (West Bend, Wis.), followed by Christ Jewett (Tonka Bay, Min.), and Tim Krech (Eden Prairie, Min.). All three are Scow sailors.
